Hellooooooo my flist.

So. I want to try to 'do' America next summer, probably for around a month. Fly out for Millicon, and stick around, for about a month all told, seeing how many people I can visit. I mean to do New York, because I've always been desperate to, and I have family in Washington DC and L.A., so there too. This is all very, very tentative, and entirely depends on my being able to keep my job when I go to uni, and my being able to actually save my fucking money for once.

ANYWAY.

Americans! (And Canadians, although I don't think I'm going to be able to afford Canada too, say sorry. Still, you never know. Will hopefully be out there in 2009 to study, anyay.) Where are you, do you want to meet me, and could you put me up for a night or two on your sofa sometime in July/August 2008? I, er, have excellent credentials - *gestures to Millimuns who've met me* and I'm totally house/flat-trained.

Brits! Anybody want to come with? Since this will almost certainly be the first time I'll have flown by myself, which will be distinctly scary to say the least.

If you come in July, I'll get my mom to let you stay with us, she'll be fine with it I'm sure. And if you come...mid August, you can stay in my dorm room. :P

South Florida is rather out of the way, and as I probably wouldn't be able to put you up I'm not sure why you'd come. But ... if you do, totally up for meeting up! And I know Rance lives somewhere near me, so if you do come, maybe we can pull him into our wacky hijinks.

I will likely be in the UK in summer 2008, so I think I'll miss you, and I think I've heard more of you from Volandum than actually talked to you.

But I do recommend visiting Philadelphia, my area, if even for just a day. 'Tis a nice place as long as you don't go to the bad parts. Perhaps by then we may be better friends.
