I blame apiphile for everything about this other than the fact that it's shit.

Scrawl a city across my skin;
carve its name on my arms with a knife.
Give me a city like a smoky dark sin;
a city, a living, a life.

Lay a city on my lips like a sacrilege;
I'll breathe it, I'll bleed it, I'll grin.
Dance to a city with my hips til its fingers dig in;
a bruise, a blessing, a sin.

Leave me homesick for a home that I've never yet had;
leave me singing, and sighing, and wrong.
But lead me to London, and I'll only go mad;
in the ways that I was all along.

I'll edit it tomorrow, if I decide it's worth it. Right now I just wish this fucking headache would go away.

Tell me about it. I might have just about managed the money, but I've got an essay due in on Thursday and I'm not going to be cutting it pretty close to the wire as it is.
