Sandra's Aunt May is an OC; I could have referenced her mum - and was really tempted as that would have meant the "cast" included Sheila Hancock - but I've had a bit of a theme naming thing going with regards to M names (Martha Hudson, Barbara Mawdsley, Margaret Carter, Minerva McGonagall, etcetera) and wanted to keep it going -- and Sandra's mother's name is canon as being Grace. So, a top-secret aunty! (Plus I am lately very tired of characters trying to live up to their dads' reputations.)
