trace_of_scarlet...Sometimes my brilliance astounds even me.
When I woke up, I looked at the clock and saw it was half past. "Shit!" I thought. "Have to be out the door in ten minutes!"
Well, I made it out the door in fifteen, but there was no-one around. Which was odd - there's always someone around, especially at that point as people also running late/with shorter journeys should be walking, and yet the place was a total ghost town. I was about halfway out of halls when I realised why... it was quarter to eight, not nine. I wasn't five minutes late, I was fifty five minutes early.
See, this is why I should not be allowed outside in the mornings without tea/a minder/both.
