My problem with Ginny is the way Jo wrote her in DH. We were led to believe she would be massively important and incredibly powerful and she turned out to be neither. All she did become was Harry's wife. Admittedly, according to interviews she became a quidditch player and a journalist, but that's beyond the actual text. I guess what it comes down to is that I expected more of this zomg awesome character.
