trace_of_scarletApparently everyone except me and Dan had a very mixed Christmas. Jenny hasn't even had Christmas yet, but that's because her parents are both in the police and worked Christmas Day. I think they're working today as well...
Should really have updated this thing before, when I had fun things to say. Ah well.
My hair is a mess, because I washed it earlier and haven't brushed or dried it, so it's gone into these really thick curls. Would be cool, but they look really dry and acky.
Presents-wise, got a PS2 (to be shared with my brother. Absolute GENIUS- he no longer nags me to have a go on the PC), CD player (just as well, as I was reduced to sticking down the lid of my old one with sellotape because the catch had broken), music and much-longed-for ceramic hair straighteners.
I'm really afraid I'm starting a cold, which will be awful if true because then I won't be able to go near Lucinda in case she passes it on to her mum. I've had a really sore throat and slightly 'thick' nose all day; the signs are not good. WAH.
I really need to start doing some work. Mr L will marmalise me if I don't get my Art posters drawn and most of the writing done before we go back to school, but knowing me I'll be doing most of it on Monday 3rd, the day before we go back to school.
I want shopping really badly... God knows why. I think I just want out of the house. Also, non-MSN conversation with somewhere who isn't family would be nice, too- and a hug wouldn't go amiss. Ah well.
God, I'm confused. But that's a long story that is mostly unfit for public consumption. Mostly, though, I'm bored and very, very blah.
Where has all the Christmas-y-ness gone???
ETA- Group trip to see Phantom of the Opera royally rocked. Slightly marred by the fact that Tom B and Jenny broke up, and thus Tom refused to come, but the fact remains that it kicked ass. Though I swear to God that Tom D was flirting like hell with me. This begs three questions:
1) If (as most people agree) he was flirting, was it serious or just Tom-being-Tom?
2) Assuming it was serious, do I like him back enough to go out with him?
3) Assuming I do, one of my other friends fancies him. We're not close, but she's a nice kid who's dealing with a lot of shit. What do I do?
But altogether the day was Teh Kewl.
