The great...
Jan. 28th, 2007 01:13 amOkay, did not die of exams in the end. Although I couldn't move my right wrist properly for a while after the History exam, wherein I wrote nearly ten pages of A4 in an hour and a half.
THe questions, both on the History and on the English papers, were weird, but I think I answered them okay in the end. Just got to wait for the results in March now, I suppose.
After the English exam (two hours after, to be specific), I had my interview at Swansea uni for both the courses I'd applied for: French and English, and French and Language Studies. Was interviewed by the head of French, so no intimidation there, obviously. /sarcasm To be fair, though, he was nice, although he went into the fastest French I have ever heard in my life. Luckily I caught one or two words, so I knew roughly what he'd asked and was all right to answer. And at the end he gave me offers for both places, so WIN. The offer was 3 Bs, which is apparently slightly higher than normal. Whatever that signifies. *shrugs* But yay, Swansea!
